Upgraded Form, Function, Fit and Finish

Customer Issues
  • Wall oven cut outs were poorly done, it was functional but looked ugly
  • Appliances were getting old and needed to be replaced
  • Cabinet hardware was in poor condition, drawers and pull out shelves would come off their tracks, some doors would not close fully and hang slightly ajar
  • They wanted to keep the light airy feel of existing kitchen
  • The raised counter at the island turned the corner and ate up usable counter space and chopped up the storage
  • Desk and associated cabinets were not used
  • Wanted to remove the bulkheads
  • Wanted an updated look while keeping the cost down
Bel Air Construction Solutions
  • Kept fixtures and appliances in nearly the same locations and only made minor changes to the cabinet footprint to reduce the amount of work to be done
  • Removed bulkheads and wing walls to give kitchen a more open feel
  • Kept the light airy feel by using white, shaker style cabinets with recessed panels to give the kitchen a modern look
  • Reconfigured the island making it slightly longer and more functional
  • Replaced desk with a beverage center that adds a beautiful accent to the kitchen and useful space when hosting parties
  • Included pull out trash cans so the trash is not sitting in plain sight
  • Saved usable counter space with a drawer microwave
