Rejuvenating Bath Design

Customer Issues

  • A master bath transformation was needed because the home was built in early 1980’s and the master bath remained as originally built consisting of a large unused tub with small shower
  • The vanity was small and short with limited functional storage and topped with the typical for the era cultured marble top and a non-descript plate glass mirror
  • Further prompting the need to do something was that the shower base was leaking and so dirty that it couldn’t be cleaned
  • The homeowner wanted their old bath transformed into a spa bath with a large shower and improved vanity with more storage
  • In looking for a contractor the homeowners wanted a one-stop shopping experience delivered by a design-build contractor

Bel Air Construction Solutions

  • The 3D Design/Build process and renderings helped the customer visualize the possibilities and how the master bath transformation could be achieved
  • The expansive DuraSupreme handcrafted furniture style vanity has plenty of cabinets and drawers for storage and is topped by a Caesarstone Noble Grey quartz countertop
  • Decorative mirrors over each sink replace the non-descript plate glass mirror and are accented with wall sconces
  • The unused tub was removed and the toilet relocated to free up space
  • Coordinating marble-look materials were selected for their function and ease of maintenance and to complement the stone shower floor
  • The new glass-enclosed, two-person shower features two Kohler showerheads, a hand-held shower head, shower jets, and a bench
