- The front of the home was not distinctive
- The siding was beginning to show its age due to exposure to the elements and an out of fashion color
- The homeowner had always wanted a concrete and brick covered front porch for their home so they could comfortably enjoy sitting outside
Bel Air Construction Solutions
- Answering to the homeowner’s desires, the Bel Air Construction design team proposed adding a welcoming covered front porch to give the home added dimension and distinction
- Existing second story windows required that the porch roof have a low slope contributing to the porch being comfortably wide enough to accommodate porch furniture
- An extended hip roof stands proud of the roof and helps pronounce the front entrance
- Double posts create interesting visual lines and add a substantial feel the to design
- The porch wraps around the side of the home and leads to a covered deck in the rear providing additional comfortable seating and dining areas
- Brick was selected to echo the brick on the home and new siding and shutters were installed that were contemporary and complementary
- Decking is maintenance free Trex composite materials, post and railings are maintenance free PVC
- The covered deck features a 2” beaded ceiling and outdoor ceiling fan
